About Amadeus

We have discovered through various discussions that Amadeus is the industry's best kept secret, so we thought it was about time that we became more visible and get across precisely what it is we do and how we do it.

One of the strategies was to demonstrate the key point that Amadeus is a group of three companies. Each of which specialise within one key area, but always working to compliment each other. This is visually identified by our new triple A logo representing, we hope, individuality but also working as a collective.

Following this we started to focus on the product range for both Amadeus Performance Equipment Ltd and Amadeus Acoustic Solutions Ltd. The goal was to examine ways of developing and building on the success of what had already been achieved as well as looking for new products, we felt complimented our existing range.

Amadeus Performance Equipment Ltd was the first of the three companies found by our MD Anne Holliday, in 1994.

Anne quickly realised, through listening to her clients, that there was a fundamental need to provide musicians with a chair that was not only comfortable, but also ensured that they retained the correct posture throughout the duration of the performance. This is why the Opus range of musician posture seating was created.

The Opus range set the tone for Amadeus Performance Equipment Ltd and for the Amadeus group's future development.

Within any business there is a core belief and ethos. Ours is to ensure that all products and services would come from the need of those who would use them and that they must always go above and beyond standard requirements.

Fast foward 14 years, through thousands of sales, hundreds of projects and many hours, days and nights of research and development, we arrive at two new, key products for both APEL and AAS Ltd.

As they are Amadeus products each carry their own distinctive quality, namely, going above and beyond standard requirements.

The Amadeus Acoustic Shield is the perfect compliment to the Opus 1 musician posture chair. Designed to deal with the 'Noise at Work' legislation.

The shield fixes quickly and easily to the back of the Opus 1 and within an orchestral environment, protects the musician from harmful mid to high frequencies from surrounding players, without taking up any floor space.

This is the perfect example of innovation and added value for one of our original leading products for musicians.

Next came the perfect addition to our acoustic product range. The Acoustic Modular Room is not a new concept but it was one introduced by Anne, to her clients many years ago.

What is new however, is the unique design of our new range of acoustic rooms.

Designed and manufactured by Boxylab srl in the Italian City of Terni, these rooms are the perfect blend of acoustic performance and aesthetic appeal.

Boxylab acoustic rooms are sold exclusively by Amadeus Acoustic Solutions Ltd and are supplied as a complete supply and install package.

One of the most important features of these rooms is that they provide a guaranteed acoustic performance that not only matches, but exceeds BB93 current requirements - something not easily achieved with more traditional building methods.

Due to their modular nature the rooms can be re-located to other areas, if required, without loss of acoustic performance. This also ensures no loss of your inital captial investment, providing total flexibility for future projects.

The rooms can be built within a very short space of time with minimal disruption to the surrounding area. To provide an example, 13 rooms were installed into a temporary modular building in under 15 days from offload to sign off.

Air exchange, power supply, lighting and internal acoustic panels are supplied as standard. There are various other finishing options such as external colour, finished floor type and colour, the list goes on.

Put simply, these rooms are arguably the finest on the market, providing top notch acoustic performance and designer appeal.
