Acoustic Shields
The Amadeus Acoustic Shield is a screen to diffuse mid to high frequencies, designed specifically for orchestras and seated musicians during live music performances.
The double screen shield comprises of one solid and one perforated section. The void between the two screens traps and diffuses some of the unwanted mid to high range frequencies that can cause musicians so much discomfort.
Noise diffusion has the additional advantage of dissipating sound rather than simply reflecting it straight back to those seated behind the acoustic screen.
The Amadeus Acoustic Shield fits perfectly to our Opus Musician Posture chair, with simple clips that fix the upright shield supports to the chair frame. Maximum comfort is achieved for both sound and posture without taking up additional space - another advantage, particularly for orchestra pits.
The Acoustic Shield will soon be available for use with many other chairs in the Amadeus range, to allow maximum utilisation particularly within those fields that are affected by The Noise At Work Legislation.
