Term used to describe the convergence of sound waves following different paths to arrive at the same receiver point that interact to cause emphasis of sounds at certain frequencies. It is achieved in the same way a radar dish focuses energy it receives to a central point in line with the centre of the dish. Often apparent in rooms with domed, concave ceilings. Again usually an undesirable effect as it causes colouration of the natural sound.
